A recent report from the Department of Veterans Affairs reported Minnesota as having 369,149 veterans; 343,541 male and 25,607 female. 273,644 of Minnesota’s vets served during foreign conflicts, as follows: 97,696 in the Gulf War, 129,641 Vietnam, 34,270 Korea, and 18,523 from World War II.
