Veterans in Delaware

According to Department of Veterans Affairs, Deleware has 78,099 veterans, with 57,512 having served during wartime, and 20,588 during peacetime.  Of the wartime vets, 24,219 served in the Gulf War, 25,044 during  the Vietname era, 7,093 the Korean Conflict, and 3,552 World War II.

Of the total number of veterans in Delaware, 69,278 are male, and 8,821 are male.
