There are a multitude of programs and benefits available to United States military veterans, offered by the U.S. Government as well as local and private institutions and organizations.
On the federal level, the Veterans Administration offers medical, educational, and financial assistance to first home buyers through the Veterans Health Administration, GI Bill, and VA Mortgages programs respectfully.
On the private and organizational level there are a number of community organizations that offer a social meeting place and sometimes assistance to our veterans. They include the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
